I think the time has come to retire the blog which has not been used for several years. The OCV Facebook page was supposed replace the blog, but as you may know, it has been hacked and is no longer usable. I would be happy to set up a new Facebook page for members, which would have the advantage over this blog that only members could see the content. Click “comments” above to leave your opinion.

Submitted by Nancy Payeur Covid-19 has changed lives world-wide, and curtailed regular OCV hikes.  Now that restrictions are easing, OCV leaders will offer physically distanced hikes, Mondays to Fridays during the month of June.  Groups are limited to six people, as per provincial health regulations.Our leader on this first post-pandemic OCV hike was Jan MacRae, who provided flower identification and historical commentary.  Brenda O’Regan, Lois Mesner, Cathy Gillis and Nancy Payeur participated in the hike, which included beautiful Oak Haven and Gore Parks, followed…
