Submitted by Nancy Payeur Covid-19 has changed lives world-wide, and curtailed regular OCV hikes. Now that restrictions are easing, OCV leaders will offer physically distanced hikes, Mondays to Fridays during the month of June. Groups are limited to six people, as per provincial health regulations.Our leader on this first post-pandemic OCV hike was Jan MacRae, who provided flower identification and historical commentary. Playfair has been transformed over the last few years from ugly invasive grass to an incredible area with beautiful native species. submitted by Adrien Lamoureux It was a nice break from the rain to enjoy the a sunny (but windy) hike on Mount Finlayson. Six brave hikers did the front, and the majority did the back. We met at the top (including Joy!) and shared a small drink to kick off the new year (thanks to Joy) 🙂
