On Earth Day, 2017 the Outdoor Club of Victoria made a donation of $20,000 to the Vancouver Island Spine Trail Association to support their 700km VI Spine Trail project to connect Victoria to Cape Scott.  The VI Spine Trail is currently 70% complete.  You can read the press release or watch a video of the presentation.
